In 2017, she earned her Ph.D. in Translation and Interpretation from Pablo de Olavide University in Seville (UPO), where she taught as a temporary substitute professor from 2011 to 2019. Since September 2022, she has been an assistant professor in the Department of Translation and Interpretation at the University of M\u00e1laga. During the 2019\u20132020 academic year, she was responsible for managing the Erasmus Mundus PETaL (Play, Education, Toys, and Languages) Master\u2019s program, funded by the European Commission and coordinated by the University of C\u00f3rdoba, in partnership with the Lisbon Polytechnic Institute (IPL) and Marmara University (Turkey). Since 2013, she has participated in several competitively awarded research projects, both at the national level (COMINTRAD, R&amp;D&amp;I \u201cSocietal Challenges\u201d MINECO) and at the regional level (LINGUAPP: Ensuring Access to Inclusive Second-Language Learning, PRY 208\/17, Andalusian Studies Center), related to interlinguistic and intercultural communication processes in exporting companies and second-language acquisition in virtual learning environments.
